http://148.230.97.38/index.php/proceedings/article/view/2393

The library is an essential facility for supporting teaching and learning activities within the school environment, especially at School X. It serves as a center for knowledge resources from various fields and is frequently utilized by both students and teachers to find references and obtain information. However, the manual recording of visitor attendance often presents challenges such as inaccurate data, difficulty in recapitulation, and low time efficiency. This research aims to design and implement a web-based library visitor attendance application to simplify the attendance recording process automatically and in real-time. The system development method used is the Waterfall model, which consists of a a series of sequential phases: requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. This application is built using the PHP programming language and a MySQL database, and it features QR code scanning as the medium for attendance input. The implementation results show that this application can record attendance more quickly, efficiently, and accurately compared to the manual method. The system also allows the librarian at School X to view visitor data summaries directly. Therefore, this application can be an effective solution for digitalizing the management of library visitor attendance at School X.
Indra SukandaSurya Cahyadi

2025-12-312025-12-3152111The Impact of Digital Innovation on Improving Efficiency and Market Reach: A Case Study of MMC Private Tutoring in Adapting to the Web Era
http://148.230.97.38/index.php/proceedings/article/view/2416

Currently, the development of digital technology has an impact on changes in various industrial sectors, one of which is non-formal education such as private tutoring. MMC COURSE is a course institution that provides tutoring services or private tutoring for various languages, including English, TOEFL, and Mandarin. Currently, in administrative activities, MMC COURSE still uses conventional methods so that the process of student registration, recording schedules, and managing participant data has not been well integrated. This study aims to design and implement a web-based information system at MMC COURSE to automate the process of registration, schedule management, and archiving student data that was previously done manually. This system was developed using PHP and MySQL technology with the hope of increasing operational efficiency, minimizing data recording errors, expanding market reach through online services, and providing easy access for students and administrators in managing learning activities digitally. By taking a qualitative approach, researchers found an increase/reduction in administration by up to 60% and improved communication workflows with prospective students. There was also an expansion of reach that occurred on MMC's social media accounts. This finding is in line with the assumption that digital change has a positive and highly effective transformational impact on service use and increases competitiveness in private tutoring services.
Bagas Muhamad FebrianCyntia Rivatunisa
