PENGARUH KELENGKAPAN NOMOR INDUK KEPENDUDUKAN (NIK) TERHADAP INTEGRASI DATA PASIEN KE PLATFORM SATUSEHAT DI PUSKESMAS JATINANGOR
Abstract
Technological advancements in the health sector drive the implementation of integrated digital systems to enhance efficiency and service quality. The Ministry of Health of Indonesia responded by launching the SATUSEHAT platform for national electronic medical record (EMR) data integration. Completeness and validity of National Identity Number (NIK) entry are crucial as NIK serves as the primary patient identification key within the SATUSEHAT ecosystem. This study aims to examine the influence of NIK entry completeness on the success of patient data integration into SATUSEHAT. A quantitative descriptive method was used, with a population comprising all 15,457 patient visit data at UPTD Puskesmas Rawat Inap Jatinangor from January to March 2024. Results show that 11,139 (72%) data were successfully integrated, while 4,318 (28%) failed, primarily due to incomplete or invalid NIKs. Fisher’s Exact Test yielded a p-value of 0.0 (highly significant, p<0.001) and an Odds Ratio of infinity (∞). These findings indicate that NIK availability and validity are absolute prerequisites significantly affecting data integration success, where no patient data without a complete NIK was successfully integrated. Enhancing NIK data validation at the input level, targeted staff training, and system integration with national population databases (Dukcapil) are necessary to support digital health transformation.
