Abstract

Digital transformation in health services is an important need to improve efficiency and quality of service. One form of this transformation is the implementation of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) which requires adequate infrastructure and human resources (HR) readiness. This study aims to examine the readiness of infrastructure and HR support for the implementation of EMR in the inpatient room of Building B of Cililin Hospital. The study was conducted with a qualitative descriptive approach using a field observation method on 18 health workers with the Doctor's Office Quality-Information Technology (DOQIT) indicator. The results showed that several obstacles were still faced, including an unstable internet network, limited hardware, software that was not fully integrated, the absence of UPS in the service unit, and less responsive technical support. In addition, most health workers have not received technical training on EMR. This finding indicates that the implementation of EMR cannot be carried out optimally. Therefore, it is necessary to improve information technology infrastructure and continuous training for HR to support the success of digital transformation in the hospital environment.
