Abstract

 

Digital transformation in healthcare services is a strategic effort to improve hospital sevice quality, particularly through the implementation of Electronic Medical Records (EMR). This study aims to examine the extent to which EMR implementation at Al Ihsan Regional General Hospital supports the quality of inpatient care services. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, using in-depth interviews, osbservations, and document analysis as data collection techniques. Informants included medical personnel, hospital information system managers, and inpatiens or their families. The findings indicate that EMR contributes. Positively to service efficiency, accelerates access to medical information, and enhances coordination between units. However, challenges remain, such as infrastructure limitations, lack of human resource readiness, and uneven technology adoption. The study concludes that EMR plays a significant role in supporting the quality of inpatient care. Nevertheless, optimizing the system, continuous training, and strengthening IT management are essential to achieving sustainable healthcare service transformation.
