Abstract

This study evaluates user satisfaction with the implementation of the Regional Medical Records (RME) system at Ujung Berung Hospital, Bandung, which has been deployed in stages from 2023 to 2025 using an independently developed Hospital Management Information System (SIMRS). A cross-sectional design was applied to assess four main aspects of system performance: accuracy, appearance, ease of use, and timeliness. The results show that user ratings reached 89% for accuracy, 78.05% for appearance, 89% for ease of use, and 87% for timeliness. All aspects are classified as “very good,” indicating that the RME system has met user expectations and supports more efficient healthcare service delivery. Nevertheless, continuous improvement is needed through regular monitoring and comprehensive evaluation of all system components. In particular, enhancing accuracy via a more stringent data validation mechanism is essential to ensure that the system remains reliable, continues to meet user needs, and adapts to the evolving demands of hospital services.
