Abstract

Electronic medical record management is one of the key elements in implementing quality services in hospitals. Poorly managed and inaccurate data can have a major impact on the services provided by the hospital to patients. The purpose of designing an electronic medical record management information system is to improve efficiency and accuracy in handling patients in health facilities. outpatient daily census is a daily recording activity carried out every day in the outpatient department, including the number and information of patients served. in X Bandung Hospital, already has a system for counting outpatients every day, but its implementation has not gone well because there are certain problems. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to develop a hospital management information system using Visual Studio Code, designed to manage outpatient daily census data using Waterfall methodology. The results of this study show that the process of collecting and monitoring patient information becomes easier, and the outpatient summary report can be simplified for medical record officers. The uniqueness of this research compared to the previous one is the filter report feature in the electronic medical record management system. This feature is very helpful for officers in managing data and reducing errors when processing census data..
