Abstract

Inventory management at Politeknik Piksi Ganesha currently relies on manual recording processes, which are prone to human error, data redundancy, and delays in semesterly asset reporting. These inefficiencies hinder real-time asset monitoring and stock accuracy. This study aims to design and develop a Web-based Inventory Information System to standardize the flow of incoming goods, outgoing goods, and asset condition reporting. The system development utilizes the Waterfall model, chosen for its structured and linear requirement characteristics, encompassing analysis, design, implementation, and testing phases. The system was built using Laravel and MySQL database. Functionality validation was conducted using Black Box Testing techniques. The results indicate that the developed system is 100% functionally valid and capable of accelerating the report recapitulation process from 3 days to minutes. The implementation of this system has proven to enhance operational warehouse efficiency and asset data transparency within the campus environment.
