Abstract

Electronic medical records play a role in simplifying the process of health examination results, including medical check-ups. Research aimed at evaluating the role of electronic medical records in simplifying the process of medical check-up results to improve service efficiency at Azra Hospital in Bogor. The health examination process carried out through medical check-ups requires fast and accurate processing and storage of patient data. However, in practice, manual data management is time-consuming and prone to errors. Therefore, the implementation of electronic medical records is expected to streamline workflows, reduce delays in data processing, and improve the quality of patient care. The research method used is a qualitative approach, involving interviews with medical staff, observations, and analysis of documents related to medical check-ups. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of electronic medical records in the processing of medical check-up results has not yet been implemented, resulting in continued inefficiencies in service delivery. In this regard, there are challenges related to infrastructure and facilities, such as the lack of specialized doctors for medical check-ups, inadequate features and functionality in the application, and manual processing methods that often lead to errors in the workflow. This study recommends that RS Azra Bogor prioritize improvements to the necessary infrastructure and facilities, as well as enhancements to the electronic medical record system being used, to achieve optimal time efficiency.
