Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine how well the bridging information system performs in handling BPJS clients at X Hospital. This study used descriptive qualitative methods with unstructured interviews and observations for 3 months in the casemix unit. For the results of the study, that the staff already understood the claim process using the bridging system, but there were obstacles that occurred such as incomplete required documents and there was down time interference on the internet network which caused delays in the claim process at BPJS. The conclusion of this study is infrastructure and training for staff so that there are no obstacles to the completeness of the claim file and further improved for the internet network so that it does not experience down time so that patients, staff, and hospitals are not disadvantaged in the claims process.
