Abstract

The advancement of information technology in the healthcare sector continues to progress rapidly. The Mobile JKN application is one of the innovations developed by BPJS Kesehatan to accelerate and simplify the outpatient registration process through online services. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Mobile JKN (MJKN) application in optimizing the online outpatient registration process at Hospital X in Bandung City. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach, and data were collected through observation and face-to-face interviews. The findings indicate that, in general, the online registration system has improved the orderliness of outpatient registration compared to the manual system. However, the effectiveness of the Mobile JKN application has not been fully achieved. This is due to several obstacles, such as the lack of public awareness regarding the Mobile JKN application, the perception that the application is complicated, and technological limitations among elderly patients. The hospital has made efforts to address these issues through direct outreach and digital media campaigns, such as educational videos on the hospital's official social media accounts.
