Analysis of Logistics Management in the Medical Equipment Procurement Department at Hospital X, Bandung City, 2025

Abstract

This study aims to examine the logistics management process in the procurement of medical equipment at Hospital X in Bandung City. Effective procurement is to smooth healthcare services. This research used a descriptive qualitative method though observasion dan interviews with related personnel. The results showed that the logisticts system was fairly well managed, covering planning, needs identification, procurement, and goods reception. Key supporting factors include competent human resources, adequate infrastructure, clear procedures, and the use of logisticts information systems. However, some challenges. The study concludes that strengthening the logistics management system can significanly ensure the availability of medical equitment in the right type, quantity, time, and quality.
