Evaluation of Electronic Medical Record Media Transfer in Inpatient Services at Dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo General Hospital
Abstract
Electronic medical records (EMR) are designed to enhance the efficiency of patient data management in hospitals, enabling faster and more accurate healthcare services. This study aims to evaluate the implementation of EMR in the inpatient unit of RSUP Dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo, Jakarta, by assessing data accuracy, service time efficiency, healthcare staff satisfaction, and identifying supporting and inhibiting factors. Data were collected from 150 medical records and 50 healthcare workers through document audits, questionnaires, interviews, and system observations. The results indicate that EMR data accuracy reaches 92%, service time improves by 35%, and 85% of staff are satisfied. However, limited training and technological constraints remain challenges. Recommendations include regular training, technological infrastructure upgrades, and more effective change management strategies. This study provides guidance for other Indonesian hospitals transitioning to digital systems.
