Abstract

This system aims to provide knowledge and understanding to the community regarding child development conditions, as well as early detection of stunting symptoms. With this information system, it is expected to assist health facilities in achieving the target reduction in stunting rates. The purpose of this research is to be one of the efforts in helping the health workers in Salimbatu village reduce stunting rates. The design of the e-stunting information system is an application intended to assist health workers and posyandu cadres in more easily monitoring the development of stunted toddlers.

In this research, the system development method used is agile development, and the system is designed as a web-based application using PHP and MYSQL programming languages. Data collection was conducted through interviews and observations during positive deviance activities over two weeks, with a total of 44 participants (10 cadres & 34 families of stunted toddlers). The results of these activities showed that 40% of stunted toddlers experienced good weight and height development. Given that stunting cases are still very high in Salimbatu village, it remains a significant issue for health workers in the village.

The recording of children's growth measurement results in the maternal and child health book has long been carried out by health workers and cadres at the posyandu. This form of recording is prone to errors and the result displayed are not visualized. The recommendation in this research is that health workers should provide special training to posyandu cadres regarding the implementation of the e-stunting application to facilitate health workers and posyandu cadres in monitoring development and reducing the stunting rate in Salimbatu village.
