Analysis of the Effectiveness of Web-Based Online Outpatient Registration Implementation to Support the Quality of Healthcare Services at Hospital X in Bandung City
Abstract
In the health sector, technological advances are utilized to improve registration services by providing online registration to support the quality of health services. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method where data collection is carried out by observing outpatient visit data at Rumah Sakti X, Bandung City. The results and discussion in this study were carried out using assessments from the aspects of simplicity, participatory aspects, accountable aspects, sustainable aspects, and fairness aspects. The results of this study indicate that the majority of patients now register online. Simplicity and transparency in the system make it easier for technology-savvy patients to register and speed up data access for staff. However, manual registration is still carried out by the hospital as a solution for patients who are technologically illiterate, elderly, or who have technical difficulties. Considering future technological developments and the status of Rumah Sakit X, Bandung City as a type A hospital, it is necessary to carry out periodic and relevant technological developments according to needs, as well as provide digital education to patients to maintain and improve the quality of services in the future.
