THE EFFECTIVENESS OF COMMERCIAL INSURANCE USE AND COMPANY INSURANCE USE ON INCREASING PATIENT VISITS AT HOSPITAL X

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze how much influence the use of commercial insurance and corporate insurance has on increasing patient visits at Hospital X. The research method used is a quantitative method using multiple linear regression analysis and using the SPSS application for data management. Based on the results of the regression analysis, both insurances have a positive influence on increasing patient visits. However, in the individual results (T test), it can be seen that the use of commercial insurance (X1) obtained a sig. value of 0.025 <0.05 with a T-count of 4.164> T-table 3.182. While the use of corporate insurance (X2) obtained a sig. value of 0.165> 0.05 with a T-count of 1.827 <T-table 3.182. It can be concluded that the use of commercial insurance has a greater influence on increasing patient visits than the use of corporate insurance. Therefore, it is recommended to increase the number of significant patient visits, focus on increasing the use of commercial insurance. Corporate insurance still has a role in explaining the variation in patient visits as a whole.
