Sosialisasi Pentingnya Pengetahuan dan Pencegahan Terorisme di Kalangan Generasi Muda Penerus Bangsa di SMKF Ikasari
Abstract
Abstrak: Terorisme merupakan tindak kekerasan untuk menimbulkan ketakutan massal yang dapat mengancam kesejahteraan masyarakat dan stabilitas sosial sehingga harus diberantas sejak masih dini terutama para remaja yang masih sekolah. Oleh karena itu, pengabdian ini bertujuan memberikan pemahaman dan pengetahuan mengenai terorisme, pencegahan terorisme, menanamkan kesadaran sosial, dan mendorong siswa SMKF Ikasari sebagai agen perubahan positif. Metode pengabdian ini dilakukan dengan sosialisasi berbasis penyampaian materi interaktif oleh narasumber tentang pemahaman dan pencegahan terorisme dan contoh studi kasus aksi terorisme kepada siswa di SMKF Ikasari, diikuti kuis berhadiah. Hasil pengabdian ini menunjukkan siswa sudah memiliki pemahaman dan pengetahuan tentang terorisme dan pencegahannya yang dapat dilihat dari siswa yang dapat menjawab kuis dengan baik tinggi. Selain itu sosialisasi ini efektif dalam menumbuhkan sikap kritis, toleransi SARA, serta mampu memotivasi mereka untuk menjadi agen perubahan positif .
