Pelatihan Psychological First Aid pada Guru Sekolah Luar Biasa untuk Penguatan Dukungan Psikologis Awal
Abstract
Guru Sekolah Luar Biasa (SLB) memiliki peran penting dalam mendukung perkembangan psikologis anak berkebutuhan khusus, namun kerap menghadapi tekanan emosional akibat kompleksitas tugas dan keterbatasan sumber daya. Kondisi tersebut menimbulkan risiko stres dan kelelahan emosional (burnout), sehingga diperlukan penguatan kapasitas guru dalam memberikan dukungan psikologis awal. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan guru SLB Negeri Sasa Kota Ternate melalui pelatihan Psychological First Aid (PFA). Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan pelatihan partisipatif yang melibatkan 17 guru sebagai peserta. Evaluasi dilakukan dengan desain pretest–posttest dan observasi kualitatif terhadap keterlibatan peserta. Hasil analisis menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada pemahaman guru setelah pelatihan (p = 0.00), serta adanya perubahan positif pada sikap empatik dan kesiapan memberikan dukungan psikologis. Pelatihan ini terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kapasitas guru SLB dan mendorong terciptanya lingkungan sekolah yang lebih suportif dan tangguh secara emosional.
